Escort Cards
I'm copying a project from JanuaryBride, but with a Boston skyline photo I bought on istockphotos and had printed through mpix.com
In a slight deviation from her version, the escort cards will have a different color cardstock, depending on which entree the guest requested, in order to make things easy for servers. I'll also give the venue a rundown of table numbers & how many of each entree go to each table, but they can determine specific seat by the escort cards. I really want to start on this soon, but since the number of cards I need varies based on how many people are attending, I guess I have to wait.
Since January Bride has such awesome directions on her bio, I'm not repeating any of that. I followed basically the same steps. My deviations are:
100 cards, so it's 10 rows by 10 columns.
I used my xyron with removeable adhesive on all the photo pieces. So far, it's working well!
Pink = Beef
Black = Chicken
White = Eggplant
Yellow = Kids meal
I handwrote each guest's name and table number with a silver metallic pen.
I need to straighten a few, but so far, so good. I want to keep the base and frame/hang it in our house.
